The government of Punjab Higher Education issued a notification on 02-10-2023 in connection with HEC Recruitment of Lecturers, Instructors, and Assistant Professors. HEC will recruit 138 Senior Instructor/ Assistant Professor and 553 lecturers. The details are as under:

These posts include Senior Instructor /Assistant Professor.  Additional 553 posts of Instructor Lecturer Commerce Stream in the Higher Education Department are also mentioned.  The section officer is directed to refer to the subject of the notification regarding the recruitment of different posts of different grades. He also directed to Initiate the process of recruitment at the earliest and the recommendation of selected candidates provided to this department.

He makes two requisitions along with the enclosure duly filed and signed. The competent authority on the prescribed PPSC form-I for making recruitment of different teaching posts in HED.

Details of 02 Requisitions

1. The first acquisition is for the 138 posts of Senior Instructor/ Assistant Professor Male in Commerce, Colleges of Higher Education Department.
2. Another requisition is for the 553 Posts of Instructor Lecturers Male in commerce colleges of HED.

According to the notification secretary Punjab Public Service Commission Lahore is liable for the recruitment process. But it must take steps to start the process of recruitment.

Suitable and capable candidates are required to fill these posts on a regular basis. There is a total of 191 posts of different categories mentioned in the notification. The recommended Male Candidates will serve in the Commerce Colleges of Higher Education Department. The recruitment process will start and complete according to the policy of recruitment. Therefore, competent authority after signing the enclosure on a prescribed PPSC form makes recruitments of different categories of teaching posts. There are 138 vacant positions for the post of basic pay scale 18. Along with it, there are 553 vacant positions of basic pay scale 17. On the order of the government of Punjab’s higher education department, the secretary must begin this Process to fill the vacant positions.
