Directorate of Elementary and Secondary Education Khyber Pakhtunkhwa issued a Notification on 20-10-2023 in connection with the Establishment of Early Childhood Education Classrooms in Government Primary Schools KPK. The details are as under:
Establishment of Early Childhood Education Classrooms in Government Primary Schools KPK
Directorate of Elementary and Secondary Education KPK issues notifications to District Education Officers both male and female of different districts.
The main subject of the notification is to establish early childhood education classrooms in selected or nominated Primary Schools. Both boys’s and girls’ primary schools under the supervision of the government are listed in the selected schools.
The competent authorities or officials have finalized the list of selected scores. The selected schools are nominated from different districts mentioned in the notification. The facility of ECE room is provided to each school and listed in the existing available classrooms in government primary schools. There is no need to construct a separate ECE room in these schools. The management is bound to maintain One of the available rooms as an ECE room.
The government assigned the responsibility of establishing the ECE rooms to the Hashoo Foundation. The foundation will hold a preoperational meeting may the competent authorities to discuss the subject matter of the notification.
In this regard, the competent authorities are requested to inform the head teachers of the concerned nominated schools in all districts of the province. There is a need for full cooperation and coordination from the managers of each school with the house you foundation regarding this. After the completion of work list the ECC items as per the attachment in the stock register of the school as well as give completion certificates through the concerned personnel.
Nominated Districts
The Directorate of Elementary and Secondary Education of KPK is going to establish the ECE classrooms in Government Primary Schools in different districts with the technical and financial support of UNICEF.
The ECE Rooms are to be constructed in the 25 Districts including Battgram, Bajaur Banner, DI Khan, Dir Upper, Hangu, Kohat, Kohistan, Lower, Khyber, Tank, Lakki Marwat, Mansehra, Mohmnad, North Waziristan, Orakzai, Peshawar, Shangla, Swabi, South Waziristan and Torghar.
