The Government of the Punjab, Services, and General Administration Department issued Notification No. NO.SOW-I(S&GAD)1-3/94 (p-II) on 29-02-2024 in connection with Holiday on 2^nd March 2024 (Saturday) in Lahore. Punjab Govt announced this holiday on the eve of Annual Urs Mubarak Hazrat Shah Hussain (Rehamt Ullah Alaih) /Mela Chiraghan. The details are as under:

Holiday on 2^nd March 2024 (Saturday) in Lahore (Mela Chiraghan)

 It is hereby notified to the general public that a local Holiday in the Lahore district shall be observed on 2nd March, 2024 (Saturday) on the eve of “Annual urs

Mubarak of Hazrat Shah Hussain (R.A) / Mela Chairaghan”

 the holiday will be observed only at the district level and its subordinate offices located in the Lahore district

However, this notification does not apply to the offices of the Punjab Civil Secretariat its attached department, and regional offices.
