Applications are invited for the post of director General (BS-21) on a contract basis initially for a period of two years in the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), Islamabad under the administrative control of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, as per the following detail:

Master’s Degree (Minimum 18 years of education) from an HEC-recognized university in Finance / Accounts. Economics / Management / public policy, Public Administration, Law, Education Leadership, Management and/or Policy:
And 20 years of experience in the fields of Management Education, Public Policy, Public Administration, Education, Leadership, Management and/or Policy, or Law; and
Out of the total Experience mentioned in (ii) above, a minimum of 5 years must be at senior management level or a minimum of 3 years as head of a public or Private Sector Organization.

The post is to be filled on a contract basis for a period of two (02) years from the date of appointment.

In case of selection of serving Government servant, the candidate has to resign or seek retirement from the visiting department/post and his/her appointment shall be subject to acceptance of his/ her resignation/retirement by the designated authority.
