Government of the Punjab, Higher Education Department issued a Notification on 20-05-2024 in connection with Summer Vacation HED Punjab 2024 for Colleges

of Government and Private set up in Punjab. As per the HED Punjab Notification, the colleges in Punjab province will remain closed with effect from 1^st June 2024 to 14^th August 2024 in connection with summer vacation 2024.

Summer Vacation HED Punjab 2024 for Colleges

No. S.O (A-II)1-1/2001(P): it is hereby notified that all Public and private sector colleges in Punjab shall remain closed for Saturday, June 2024 Wednesday 14^th August. 2024 for summer vacation. All public and private Sector Colleges in the province shall reopen from Thursday 15^th August, 2024 resuming all classes.

BS 4-year Program, however, shall continue to function as per the academic calendar of the respective universities. Furthermore, all Examinations shall be held as per the notified schedules of Boards and Universities.

Before this School Education Department notified for summer holidays in Punjab Schools with effect from 25 May 2024 till `14th August 2024.
