NADRA has prepared procedure of Biometric Smart Card for the convenience of the Pensioners. Now the Pensioners will get their pension from any Bank, Post Office or alternative sources where there will be available the Biometric platform.
Govt of the Punjab School Education Department has regularized Senior Subject Specialist wef 10-09-2011 vide even Notification & Even dated. These Senior Subject Specialists were working in BPS-18 on contract basis and were appointed the contract policy 2004. The service period of contract basis of these employees will not be counted for pension, gratuity or leave etc. The seniority of these employees will be in respective new cadre will be reckoned from their date of regular appointment.
Mohtsib Punjab has issued orders to Accountant General Punjab & all the district offices to protect the pay and allowances of the lecturers who have been appointed through Punjab Public Service Commission. Mohtsib Punjab also ordered the said officials to submit the report by adding previous pay and allowances of these lectures. It is added that these lectures were working as teachers in various Punjab educational institutions and they were selected as lectures through Punjab Public Service.

A Government Servant must always apply through proper channel for another job. It is very important for a Govt Servant. If he/she does not do so then he/she will have to repent on it in future when he/she will have to face the loss of previous service. If an employee doesn’t apply for a job through proper channel his previous service is not counted and neither is he entitled to pay protection. In this way he/she not only loses his/her previous service but also he/she will not be able to protect his previous pay. If he/she is drawing some Adhoc Relief Allowances, he/she will also lose the benefit of these allowances. He/she will only draw his fresh pay and allowances in this situation.

As you know that Service Book is maintained for the Non Gazetted Employees and if any one is promoted or upgraded to Gazetted Scale then his/her service book is closed and the History of Gazetted Sheet is maintained for such employee.
