Here is to mention that the employee who is promoted within the same scale will get 2x increments, 1x Next Above Increment and the other one is Premature Increment.

This notification has been issued under pursuance of judgment of Lahore High Court, Rawalpindi Bench, Rawalpindi passed in writ petition No. 1826/2011 and 3922/2010 CRL Original No. 64/W/2072 No. 76-W of 2012 dated 01-11-2012 and Ministry of Defence No. 5/2/D/2005 dated 13/12/2012.

Regularization of 1124 Contract Female Lecturers of Punjab

Govt of the Punjab Higher Education Department has regularized 1124 female lecturers BPS-17 who were working on contract basis and were appointed through Punjab Public Service Commission in 2009. These female lecturers are regularized with immediate effect vide Notification No. S.O.(CE-III)61-18/2010(18) dated 5^th January 2013. They are allowed to work at their present place of posting.
