Finance Department, Azad Jammu & Kashmir issued a Notification on 24-07-2026 in connection with DRA-2026 @ 15% Basic Pay AJK employees. The AJK employees will receive the Disparity Reduction Allowance 2026, with effect from 1st July 2026. The details are as follows:
Grant Disparity Reduction Allowance (DRA) 2026 AJK
The President Azad Jammu and Kashmir is pleased to accord approval for the grant of DRA-2026 @ 15% of basic pay on the pay as on 30th June 2026, i.e before the introduction of Revised Basic Pay Scales 2026 AJK. The employees of BPS-01 to BPS-22 will get this Disparity Reduction Allowance with effect from 1st July 2026. The basic terms and conditions for this allowance will remain the same as earlier announced for DRA. Simply, the employees who are already getting DRA will get this DRA 2026 too.
DRA 2026 Only for Federal and AJK Govt Employees
It is to mention here that only the Federal Government has granted Disparity Reduction Allowance 2026 @ 15% federal employees. No other province has notified this DRA 2026 to its employees. After Federal AJK government has also favoured the employees with 15% DRA 2026 AJK. The Punjab, KPK, Balochistan, and Sindh governments kept their employees deprived of this DRA-2026 this year. All other pay and allowances in all provinces were granted the same as the Federal with effect from 1st July 2026.
