Government of Balochistan, Finance Department, issued a Notification on 17-08-2026 in connection with an increase in Pension 2026 @ 7% Balochistan. This increase in Pension for Balochistan pensioners is wef 1st July 2026. The details are as follows:
Increase in Pension 2026 @ 7% Balochistan
The Government of Balochistan has been pleased to sanction an increase @ 7% on baseline pension w.e.f 1st July, 2026 to all Civil Pensioners of the Balochistan Government. The baseline/net pension shall be as decided/determined vide Finance Department’s Notification No. FD.SO(Reg-II)VII-I/Pension/2025/271-411 dated 24th November, 2025.
- The increase in pension @ 7% as mentioned at para-1 above will also be admissible to the pensioners who would retire on or after 01.07.2026.
- The increase in pension @ 15% allowed vide Finance Department’s Notification No. FD(R-I)II-29/2022/856-976 dated 18th August, 2022 and @ 7% allowed vide Finance Department’s Circular No. FD(R-I)II-29/2025/451-570 dated 17th July, 2025 shall remain admissible to the Civil Pensioners retiring on or after 01.07.2026.
- The increase will also be admissible to all the family pensioners of the Provincial Government under the Balochistan Civil Servants Pension Rules, 1989 amended vide Notification FD.SO(Reg-II)VII-I/Pension/2025/271-411 dated 24th November, 2025, as well as on the compassionate allowance under Rules 1.9 of the aforesaid rules.
- If the gross pension sanctioned by the Provincial Government is shared with any Government in accordance with the rules, the amount of increase in pension will be apportioned between the Provincial Government and the other Government concerned on a proportionate basis.
- The increase in pension sanctioned in this circular will not be admissible on Special Additional Pension allowed in lieu of pre-retirement Orderly Allowance and monetized value of a driver or an orderly, or any other such allowance, if any.
