Finance Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa issued a Notification on 22-07-2026 in connection with Increase in Pension 2026 @ 7% KPK. The details are as follows:
Increase in Pension 2026 @ 7% KPK
According to the Notification, the KPK Pensioners will have now an increase in their pension @7% of their net pension minus medical allowance. This net pension was admissible to them on 30-06-2022.
- As per the Notification No. SO(SR-II)FD/2-4/2026/Pension in pursuance of the decision of the Provincial Cabinet in its special budget meeting held on 19.06.2026, the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been pleased to sanction an increase @7% of net pension with effect from 1st July, 2026 to all Pensioners of the Provincial Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
- This increase in pension @7% as mentioned in para-1 would also be admissible to those pensioners who will retire on or after 01/07/2026.
- For the purpose of admissibility of increase in pension sanctioned in this notification the term “Net Pension” means “pension being drawn as on 30.06.2026 minus “Medical Allowance”.
- The increase will also be admissible on family pension granted under the Pension-cum-Gratuity Scheme 1954, Civilized Pension Rules, 1977, or on pension sanctioned under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Provincial Civil Servants Pension Rules (Extra Ordinary Pension) as well as on Compassionate Allowance.
- The other terms and conditions have been mentioned at the copy of the Notification of Increase in Pension @ 7% by the Finance Department KPK on 22nd July 2026.
- It is to mention here that the Finance Department KPK has also issued the Notification of Revised Pay Scales 2026 and ARA-2026 KPK for the serving employees of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
