Notification Copy of Revised Leave Encashment for 365 Days Punjab Govt

Govt of the Punjab Finance Department has issued Notification No. FD-SR-II/2-141/2012 dated 9th September 2013 in connection with the Leave Encashment for 365 days instead of 180 days. Earlier the benefit of leave encashment for 180 days was granted to the employee who retired on Leave Encashment basis and now the employees retiring on leave encashment bases would get the benefit of 365 days leaves.

Notification of Protection of Pay of Contract Employees on Regularization/Appointment on Regular Basis

Govt of Pakistan Finance Division Regulation Wing, Islamabad has issued Notification No. F.No. 79/)R-I/2012 dated 31st May 2013 in connection with the protection of pay of the contract employees on regulation or appointment on regular basis. The proposals for protection of pay last drawn by the contact employees on their regularization/appointment on regular basis are received in the Finance Division and considered/decided on case to case basis. The existing rules/orders on the subject don’t provide for protection of pay of contract employees on their regularization. The courts have held from to time that the pay of contract employees on their regularization appointment on regularization basis should be protected.

When An Employee Can Get Two Increments?

An employee gets increments on various occasions in his/her service. I have already discussed in my previous posts about the annual increment and premature increment as well as usual increment. Annual increment is granted to an employee on 1st December every year on continuous 6 months service in a particular scale. Usual Increment is granted in the year of retirement of an employee when he/she retires on 1st June or later till 30th November. Premature Increment is allowed on promotion, re-appointment or up-gradation. However I am today discussing about the occasion where an employee will get two increments at the same time.
