Government of the Punjab, Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department has issued Notification on 08-03-2018 in connection with Mechanism Revised for Carrying out All Recruitment of Staff From BPS-05 to BPS-15 at DHQs/RHCs/BHUs/Dispensaries and Other Health Facilities/Offices of Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department. Detail is as under:

I am directed to refer to the subject noted and to enclose herewith a copy of this Department`s Notification bearing No.  DS(Promotions)13/2016 dated 24.08.2016, whereby a comprehensive mechanism has devised under Para-13(vi) of Recruitment Policy, 2004, for carrying out all recruitment of staff from BS-5 to BS-15 at DHQs / THQs / RHCs / BHUs / Dispensaries and other health facilities including MCH centers etc./ Offices of DGHS / Director Health Services / CEO, DHA concurred etc and other field officers / Vertical Program of Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department.

2. I am further directed to reiterate that the mechanism / policy guidelines as contained in Notification dated 24.08.2016 as referred to in Para-01 above, may strictly be ensured / adhere to in letter and spirit, while making recruitment / appointments in the health facilities / offices working under administrative control, and violation thereof will be dealt in accordance with the relevant law/ rules.
