Government of the Punjab, Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department has issued a Notification on 28-08-2020 in connection with the Upgradation of the Post of Midwife BPS-04 to BPS-06. The details are as under:
The sanction is hereby accorded, in relaxation of the ban Imposed by the Chief Minister, Punjab for the up-gradation of the post of Midwife from BS-4 to BS-5 with effect from 11.04.2019 and to include the posts of Midwife in the Notification No.SO(ND)7-11/2019(Pramatics), dated 24.11.2011 with effect from 11.04.2019 (date of approval of the Competent Authority).
- The splashing of 6215-posts of Midwife is also made as per the enclosed list.
- The expenditure involved would be met by the Provincial Government of their annual budgetary allocation.
