Government of the Punjab, Higher Education Department has issued a Notification on 30-03-2021 in connection with Extension Spring Break in District Sheikhupura. The details are as under:
Extension Spring Break in District Sheikhupura
In continuation of this Department’s notification of even number dated 24.03.2021, whereby the early spring break in all Public & Private Universities a d Collage sin cities of Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Rawalpindi, Multan, Sargodha & Sialkot was extended w.e.f. 29.03.2021 to 11.04.2021 due to a considerable rise in COVID-19 positive cases. The aforesaid early spring break is also extended to Sheikupura city. There will be a complete ban on the conduct of kind of examinations and sendups in the above-mentioned cities. The rest of the cities are allowed to follow straggled model.
The federal government has already announced the closing of educational institutions in many cities of Punjab, KP, and Federal. The Punjab, KP, and Federal Government further extended the holidays due to fastly increasing cases of COVID-19.
