Closure of Educational Institutions Federal Directorate of Education

Government of Pakistan, Federal Directorate of Education, Islamabad has issued a Notification on 3rd Sep 2021 in connection with Closure of Educational Institutions Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) wef 04-09-2021 to 11-09-2021. The details are as under:

 

Closure of Educational Institutions Federal Directorate of Education (FDE)

 

In pursuance of directions received from M/o Federal Education and Professional Training Communicated under the announcement by NCOC reference COVID-19 situation in ICT, all educational institutions under the ambit of Federal Directorate of Education shall be closed with on-campus academic activities suspended w.e.f. 04-09-2021 (Saturday) to 11-09-2021 (Saturday) except on going FBISE examination which shall continue as per its schedule. This decision is taken in accordance with measures being adopted by the Federal Government to prevent the spread of COVID-19 among the students and public at large. The on-campus academic Activities are being halted for the specified period only and shall be resumed immediately after re-opening of educational institutions and/or as per the advice of Competent Authority i.e. Director General (FDE). All heads of institutions are advised to continue online teaching/learning activities and keep their respective offices functional for disposal of office business as per routine schedule.  

2. This is issued with the approval of the Competent Authority.

 

KPK Govt has also issued the Notification for Closing of Schools wef 06-09-2021 in KPK. In the same way, Punjab Govt also announced holidays for one week.
