The Government of Pakistan announced the closing of Prize Bonds in Pakistan of various values. The value of these prize bonds is 40,000/-, 25,000/-, 15,000/- and 7,500/-.
Closing of Prize Bonds in Pakistan
The Government of Pakistan issued an important announcement for the prize bond holders. In the documentation of the economy of Pakistan, the Government took this step. To get Pakistan in a stable condition, the government of Pakistan announces to suspension of the sale of some of the prize bonds.
The Ministry of Finance shall suspend the sale of the following prize bonds:
- Prize Bond of 40,000
- Prize Bond of Rs. 25,000
- Prize Bond of Rs. 15,000
- Prize Bond of Rs. 7,500
The sale of the above-mentioned prize bond is closed now. The holders of above mentioned Prize Bond can return or change their prize bonds before the closing dates.
How to Return or Change Prize Bonds
The Prize Bond Holders can return or change prize bonds by following the ways:
- Exchange prize bonds of Rs. 40,000 and Rs.25,000 from Premium Prize Bonds (Registered)
- Get a Special saving certificate
- Receive the payment through Bank Account
Last to Return Prize Bond
The last date to return prize bonds of Rs. 40,000, Rs.25,000, Rs.15,000, or Rs.7500 is 30 June 2023. The holders of the above-mentioned prize bond can exchange or return their prize bonds before the last date. After this, no prize bond will be able to be returned.
