Government of Pakistan, Cabinet Secretariat Cabinet Division issued a Notification on 23-12-2022 in connection with Public and Optional Holidays 2023 Pakistan.  The Public Holidays 2022 in Pakistan are general holidays for all public. The Optional Holidays 2013 are not for the general public. These holidays are locally based and any event-specific or religious-specific holidays like Christmas, Diwali, etc.

Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, Higher Education, Archives and Libraries Department issued a Notification on 24-12-2022 in connection with Winter Holidays 2022-23 Higher Education Department KPK.  Winter vacation for summer zone and winter zone, the Department announced early keeping in view the bad weather conditions.

As per the tweet of Mr. Shahram Khan Tarakai, due to bad weather conditions. The Education Department Khyber Pakhtunkhawa issued New Orders of Winter Vacation 2022-23 in KPK Education Department. According to the new announcement, the educational institutions in KP will remain closed in the summer zone with effect from 25^th December 2022 to 1^st January 2023.

Government of the Punjab, Higher Education Department issued a Notification on 22-12-2022 in connection with Winter Holidays 2022 Private and Public Sector Colleges, Higher Education Department Punjab for Private and Government sector colleges.

The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, Elementary & Secondary Education Department issued a Notification on 22-12-2022 in connection with Waiving Off Winter Vacation 2022 in KPK. As per the Notification, the education department KP canceled the winter holidays in warm areas only.
