The Federal Government has approved the Increase in Salaries of Teachers (TTS) @ 35% for universities set up, thus issuing the Revision of TTS Pay Scales 2026. The teaching staff working under the Tenure Track System will get an increase in their pay @ 35 of their current pay. The details are as under:
Revision of TTS Pay Scales 2026
The Federal Government has approved a 35% increase in the salaries of the teaching staff working under the Tenure Track System (TTS) with effect from 1st July 2026. The burden of this increase will fall on the universities instead of the Higher Education Commission. The Finance Division has issued an office memorandum on Friday, 10th July 2026, for the TTS Pay Package 2026. The Revised Pay scales for Tenure Track System teachers are for Professors, Associate Professors, and Assistant Professors. The details are as under:

What about Regular Revised Pay Scales 2026?
The Federal Government will soon issue the Notification of Revised Pay Scales 2026 for Basic Pay Scale employees. There is a chance that the Finance Division will issue the Notification during the coming week, wef 13 July 2026. The Federal Government employees will also have an Adhoc Relief Allowance 2026 @ 7% as well as DRA @ 15%.
