Notification Clarification Adhoc Relief Allowance 2023 Punjab @ 35% and 30% / Special Allowance

The government of the Punjab, Finance Department issued a Notification on 13-12-2023 in connection with Clarification Adhoc Relief Allowance 2023 Punjab @ 35% and 30% and special allowance 2022 @ 15% of Revised Basic Pay Scales 2017. The employees of the Punjab Government will this ARA-2023 on a frozen level. They will not get it in increased form with the increase in Basic Pay. The new entrants will also get this ARA-2023 but on the initial of 2022 Basic Pay Scales. On promotion, they will get the same amount that they were already drawing. However if the amount on the initial of the new pay scales is greater than the previous one, then the employee will get the greater amount.

Chart of Increase in Salary All Government Employees Dec 2023 (Annual Increment)

I am sharing the Chart of Increase in Salary All Government Employees wef 1st Dec 2023 due to Annual Increment 2023. This year with effect from 01-12-2023 Government employees will get an enhancement in their salaries only due to the annual increment 2023. All other allowances are at a frozen level for general cadre employees. There may be some allowances on running basic pay in some departments. These allowances will increase (if any). However, all the allowances being on the frozen level will not increase this year.
