A number of comments and questions have been received via email regarding the criteria of eligibility of the payment plan of arrears amount to the pensioners. Again on my request Mr. Amir Agha has given the answers in detail about the same matter. Let’s see the detail of the questions and their answers:
After publishing the previous article on Payment Plan for the Pensioners, I received many comments and emails regarding the clarification of the same matter and I requested Mr. Amir Agha to clarify the whole situation of the Payment Plan for the pensioners. On my request Mr. Amir Agha (Who are really doing a great work for the pensioners benefit and solving their issues without any hesitation) has send me the detail of payment plan of arrear amount for the pensioners. As the Notification of the same is not yet issued yet let’s see what is the whole situation regarding the subject matter.
Mr. Amir Agha has sent a letter on 19th August 2014 to Deputy Secretary concerned with pension of Punjab Finance Department in connection with Request of Omission of Para 16 (e) from Pension Orders dated 22-10-2001. So far he has not received any response. Pensioners located at Lahore may like to pursue the case with the concerned officer. Copy of said letter is reproduced herewith.
The Supreme Court of Pakistan has issued the judgment on 31st March 2014 in connection with Restoration of Commuted Portion of Pension for Punjab Govt Pensioners.
Government of the Sindh, Finance Department has issued Notification No. FD(SR-III)3-230/2013(Provl.) dated 15th July 2014 in connection with Notification of Increase in Pension 2014 for the Sindh Govt pensioners.
Government of the Punjab Finance Department has issued Notification No. FD-SR-III/4-41/2008 dated 22nd July 2014 in connection with Restoration of Commuted Portion of Pension.
