Program Monitoring & Implementation Unit Punjab Education Sector Reform Programme, School Education Department, Government of Punjab has issued a letter on 29-04-2020 in connection with Transportation Free Text Books to Various Tehsil Warehouses across the Punjab. The details are as under:
Transportation Free Text Books to Various Tehsil Warehouses
- School Education Department has communicated PMIU-PESRP to start the transportation activity of free textbooks from Central Warehouse, Lahore to various Tehsil Warehouses across Punjab from 1st Week of May 2020 and ensure the complete delivery of free textbooks to Tehsil Warehouses across Punjab till 2nd Week of May 2020.
- In view of the above, you are required to further direct the Focal Person/Incharge Tehsil Warehouses of your district to make necessary arrangements for receipt and unloading of free textbooks from 1st Week of May 2020 so that transportation activity of free textbooks from Central Warehouses, Lahore to tehsil Warehouses may be completed before 2nd week of May 2020.
3. All SOPs in the context of pandemic COVID-19 must be followed.
The concerned office has submitted a copy of this letter to different related offices for their information. They have forwarded this letter to all the Chief Executive Officers (DEA) in Punjab.
