Government of the Punjab, School Education Department has issued Notification on 26-06-2020 in connection with Instructions Regarding Issuance of School Leaving Certificates for Students Promoted to Next Higher Classes. The details are as under:
Instructions Regarding School Leaving Certificates for Students
I am directed to refer your note for Secretary dated 22-06-2020 on the subject cited above and to state that according to Section 12-D of the Punjab Private Educational Institutions (promotion and Regulations) Ordinance, 1984, the registering authority may, from the time to time, issue such directions or instructions to the Incharge as may be necessary to accomplish the objectives of the Ordinance, and the Incharge shall comply with such directions or instructions within the time specified by the registering Authority.
I am further directed to state that, DEAs for public schools and DRAs for Private schools need no further direction regarding dues clearance of previous academic year of students and school leaving certificate, etc. As the government has already issued instructions for the promotion of students to the next higher class which needs to be implemented by concerned in letter and spirit.
