Government of Pakistan Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) has issued Notification on 02-09-2020 in connection with Enhancement of Technical Allowance @ 25% of Initial Basic Pay to the employees of Pakistan Railways. The details are as under:

In supersession of this Ministry’s U.M of even number dated 25-8-2020, I am directed to communicate the provisional approval of the competent authority (Secretary / Chairman Railways) regarding Increase in Technical Allowance @ 25% to the following:
Skilled
Semi-skilled
Mistry categories
In the same way consolidated allowance @ 25% they have granted to the following:
Sub-Engineers/Junior Charge man
Assistant Foreman
Foreman G-I
Foreman G-II
Supervisory Staff of workshop and sheds
This allowance is effective with effect from 25th August 2020 on initial basic pay scales. Pakistan Railways Headquarters Office Lahore has forwarded the same letter to concerned offices for their information / necessary action. The Headquarter issued this letter on 03-09-2020.
