Supreme Court of Azad Jammu & Kashmir has issued a decision regarding Not to Receive of Fee for the Months of June, July & August 2020. The Secretariat Elementary & Secondary Education has issued orders on 02-10-2020 in connection with the same issue. The details of the same are as under:
Not to Receive of Fee for the Months of June to Aug 2020
The Secretary Elementary & Secondary Education Azad Government Jammu & Kashmir has ordered to implement the orders of the SC of AJ&K of the dated 24th Sep 2020. In this context they have approved not to receive the fee/funds for the following three months by Private Education Institutions:
June 2020
July 2020
August 2020
Whereas, the above titled civil miscellaneous application for grant interim relief along with PLA is subjudice. And that is before the Hon’ble Court in which the next is fixed as 24.10.2020.
AND WHEREAS, on 24.09.2020, in civil misc. application the Hon’able Court has been pleased to order that:-
“…………, as almost in identical matter status quo has already been issued vide order 24th August 2020 titled Rehat Farooq Raja vs. Azad Govt. & others, therefore, in view of the similarity to the circumstances of both the case, the respondents are retrained to levy and collect the fee for the month of June and August 2020, subject to objections from another side, till further order.
THEREFORE, you are hereby directed to file objections if any on or before the next date, i.e. 24.10.2020.
