The Government of Sindh, School Education & Literacy Department has issued a circular on 17-12-2020 in connection with Syllabus for Recruitment of Primary School Teachers  (PSTs) (BPS-09) and junior Elementary School Teacher (JEST) BPS-14 Sindh. The details of the same are as under:

Syllabus for Recruitment of Primary School Teachers and junior Elementary School Teacher

School Education & Literacy Department, Government of Sindh intends to recruit Primary School Teachers (BPS-09) and junior Elementary School Teacher (JEST) BPS-14, through a Competitive process.

All the Aspirant Candidates are informed that there will be a written Test of three main areas of Education.

• Science, Mathematics & Computer Knowledge
• English
• Mother Tongues and Social Studies Including Islamiyat.

Note: The minimum Passing marks are 45% in each group and overall 55% marks for passing.

The Department will conduct the test from books that the  Sindh text Book Board (STBB) Jamshoro has published.

1. Books Class I to VIII for Primary Teachers (PST) and
2. Books Class VI to Class X for Junior Elementary School Teacher (JEST).

The Department, therefore, advises the aspirant candidates for preparation to appear in the above test for their recruitment on a merit basis.

Department will maintain the reserved quota for women, minorities, and the disabled as per rules/policy.

The will announce the date of conducting the Teachers Recruitment Test shortly.
