Government of Pakistan Cabinet Secretariat (Establishment Division) has issued a Notification on 30-05-2022 in connection with Civil Savants Directory (Retirement from Service) (Repeal) Rules 2022. Cabinet Secretariat Establishment Division issued an OM on 31-05-2022 on the subject. The details are as under:
Civil Savants Directory (Retirement from Service) (Repeal) Rules 2022
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the civil servant’s Act, 1973 (LXXI of 1973) read with Notification No. S.R.O. 120(I)/98, dated the 27th February 1998, the Prime Minister is pleased to make the following rules namely: –
Short title and commencement.- (1) these rules shall be called the civil servants (Dictionary retirement from service) (repeal) Rules, 2022.
(1). These rules shall come into force at once and shall be deemed to have taken effect on and from commencement of the civil servants (Dictionary Retirement from Service) Rules, 2022.

-(1) the civil servants (Dictionary Retirement from Service) Rules, 2022 are hereby repealed.
(2). On repeal under sub-rule (1), any action taken, proceedings initiated, pending or concluded, recommendations or decisions made, orders passed or notifications issued under the repealed rules are herby called and shall have no legal effect whatsoever and no inferences shall be drawn against civil servants affected or suffered under the repealed rules solely for the reason that proceedings of dictionary retirement under the repealed rules were initiated or finalized.
