New Grading Scheme – Introduction of GPA and CGPA System instead of Marks All BISE Pakistan
They held a meeting to discuss the points regarding the implementation of the new grading formula. The Chairman Sindh examination board also joined. It is organized on 27 October 2023 at 11:00 AM in the meeting room of the IBCC secretariat in Islamabad.
In the meeting, Qazi Mujeeb ur Rahman System Analyst BISE Multan gave a comprehensive presentation to participants. He briefed the members about the existing reading scheme implemented in all examination boards of Punjab and Sindh provinces. The new scheme of grading system is introduced for the annual examination in the upcoming year.
Implementation of New Grading Scheme
The silent features of the new grading scheme that the Boards will implement in 2024 in the first phase and the procedure to calculate the GPA and CGPA.
The worthy members of the meeting Highly appreciated the presentation of the System Analyst. They also endorse that the new grading system shall be implemented in the first phase by 2024 by all the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education of the country simultaneously.
Suggestion to Arrange Training and Workshops
The members also gave their suggestions to organize two days of training workshops or examination and information technology staff of the Sindh examination board in this context at the earliest meeting concluded with a vote of thanks.
The new grading scheme will help improve the grading system or schemes for secondary and higher secondary classes. It will introduce complete new steps and procedures in the calculation of CGPA or GPA. The new system will mechanized in 2024.
