Government of the Punjab, Directorate General of Literacy & Non-Formal Basic Education issued a Notification on 08-05-2024 in connection with Revised School Timings Punjab for Non-Formal Schools 2024. The details of the same are as follows:
Revised School Timings Punjab for Non-Formal Schools 2024
The DG of L&NFBE Punjab issued a Notification No. AD-III/OPS/6-14/2020(P-I) for the change in school timings in Punjab Govt Non-Formal Schools. Consequent upon the approval of the Competent Authority, the following school timing is hereby notified for all Non-Formal Schools in Punjab with immediate effect and till 15-10-2024.

Monday to Saturday
07:30 am to 11:30 am without any break
Note
The school timing may be adjusted at the district level to accommodate the target population on a specific case basis.
The school timing shall be updated on the Non-Formal Education Management Information System (NFEMIS) portal by districts.

The above notification is only for the non-formal schools in Punjab. There is also a very extensive heat wave in Punjab. The Punjab Government schools of SED may also change their school timings. As soon as I get the updates, I shall upload the same for the information of students, teachers, and parents.
