The Federal Government has issued the Revised Pay Scale Chart 2026 for government employees. This new Revised Basic Pay Scales 2026 Chart has replaced the old pay scale chart 2022. The new chart of pay scales 2026 is effective from 1st July 2026. The details are as follows:

Revised Pay Scale Chart 2026

The Federal Government of Pakistan, Finance Division, has issued the Notification Revised basic pay scales 2026 for government employees with effect from 1st July 2026. The new chart has been created after merging the following two adhoc relief allowances:

• Adhoc Relief Allowance 2022 @ 15% of Basic Pay of 2017 Pay Scales
• Adhoc Relief Allowance 2025 @ 10% of running / current basic pay of 2022 pay scales

Net Effect of Basic Pay in New Pay Scales 2026 and Annual Increment

The Net Effect of Basic Pay in New Pay Scales and Annual Increment for BPS-01 to BPS-22 is nearly 20%. This means the employees will now have 20% more basic pay and in the same way, they will have 20% more annual increment.

Benefits of Revised Pay Scales 2026

There are many benefits of the revised pay scales for 2026. Some of the main benefits are as follows:

• The main benefit is for the employees who will retire on or after 1st July 2026. They will get more basic pay and hence more pension, commute, leave encashment, TA/DA (If any), and farewell grant at retirement.
• Future Increase in any allowance on the basis of Basic Pay will be more than if the pay scales are not revised.
• The employees will have more TA/DA on the basis of Basic Pay.
• They will get a higher amount of Advances based on Basic Pay

Stages of Pay Scale Chart

This new pay scale chart 2026 has 30 stages of pay for the employees of BPS-01 to BPS-16, 20 stages for the employees of BPS-17 to BPS-19, and 14 stages for BPS-20 to BPS-22.
