The Government of Sindh, College Education Department issued a Notification on 13-01-2023 in connection with Local Holiday on 14^th January 2023 in Karachi and Hyderabad public and private educational institutions. The details are as under:

There is a Fake Notification of the Extension of Winter Vacations Federal Educational Institutions Islamabad on social media. Ministry of Education and Professional Training Islamabad has clarified.  According to the fake notification, it was claimed that the Educational Institutions (Schools and Colleges) will remain closed till 15^th January 2023. It was wrongly claimed that the Schools/Colleges will open on 16^th January 2023.

Education Minister Punjab Mr. Muraad Raas has clearly denied the extension in vacations and there will be No Holidays Extension till 15^th January 2023. The schools in Punjab will re-open on 9^th January 2023.
