Request for Grant of 50% Adhoc Allowance to the Judicial Officers & Staff of District Judiciary
National Judicial (Policy Making) Committee Supreme Court Building Constitution Avenue Islamabad has submitted a request to the Secretary Finance Department Govt of the Punjab vide letter No. 14/275/12/Conf 2013/LJC-A) dated 17th June 2013 to grant 50% Adhoc Allowance to the Judicial Officers & Staff of District Judiciary as allowed to the employees of Federal and Provincial Governments in the Financial Year 2010-2011.
Copy of IHC Decision-20% Special Allowance to All the Federal Govt Employees
Islamabad High Court (IHC) on 18-06-2013 has made a decision to grant 20% Special Allowance to all the Federal Govt Employees. Earlier in March 2013, Ex-PM Raja Pervez Asharf had announced 20% Special Allowance to the Secretariat and Ministries and Divisions Employees and the Employees of Attached Departments, Semi Govt and Corporations were deprived of this allowance.
Estimated Increase in Salaries of the Govt Employees in the Budget 2013-14
According the Budget 2013-14 the salaries for the employees have been increased with different rates. Federal Govt as well as Punjab Govt has announced 10% increase in the salaries for the Govt Employees. Khyber Pakhtunkhawa and Sindh Govt has announces 10 to 15% increase in salaries.
When An Employee Can Get Two Increments?
An employee gets increments on various occasions in his/her service. I have already discussed in my previous posts about the annual increment and premature increment as well as usual increment. Annual increment is granted to an employee on 1st December every year on continuous 6 months service in a particular scale. Usual Increment is granted in the year of retirement of an employee when he/she retires on 1st June or later till 30th November. Premature Increment is allowed on promotion, re-appointment or up-gradation. However I am today discussing about the occasion where an employee will get two increments at the same time.
Restoration of Pension and Its Facts by Mr. Aamir Agha
Recently the notification for the restoration of pension has been issued by the Finance Division on 11th March 2013. I have received many questions regarding this notification as many of the employees failed the understand the real concept of this notification and I too has not much knowledge about the same.
