I am sharing the details of Salary Increase 2026 as per Budget Speech Copy. The Finance Minister announced on 12 June 2026 during budget speech that the employees and pensioners will have an increase in salary @ 7% of basic pay. The details are as under:
Pension and Salary Increase 2026 as per Budget Speech Copy 2026-27
According to the Budget Speech Copy 2026-27, the employees will have the following package:
- Increase in Salary @ 7% of Basic Pay
- Increase in Pension for the pensioners @ 7%
- Relief in tax for the salaried persons having 22 to 32 lac annual income @ 20%
- Employees having income 32 lac to 41 lac per annum will have a tax now @ 25%
- 41 lac to 56 lac per annum income employees will have now 29% tax.
- Minimum Wage rates increased @ 10% of existing rates.

Pl confirm about three increases
1) 7% increase after merging of two ARA 2022 and 2025
2) 50% increase in conveince allowance
3) DRA at 15% on pay scale 2022

Baseline Pension is the pension that is got on the basic pay at the time of retirement. It does not include the increases during various years.
