The Punjab Mohtsib has given its decision on 12-12-2013 in connection with the Upgradation of Computer Operator from BPS-12 to BPS-16 in Punjab with immediate effect.
Complaint
M/s Yasir Manzoor and Nazia Perveen both the Computer Operator BPS-12 O/o District Officer, Agriculture, Water Management Nankana, seek a direction to Agriculture Department to upgrade the post of Computer Operator BPS-12 to BPS-16 on the analogy of upgradation of various posts and that too the Honourable Peshawar High Court, Peshawar in judgment dated 19-06-2013.announced in W.P.No.428-P of 2012have accepted the W.P of the Computer Operator BPS-12 of KPK Govt. and directed the KPK Govt (Respondent) to upgrade the posts of Computer Operators to BPS-16 with immediate effect.
Findings Regarding Upgradation of Computer Operators
The Agriculture Department is directed to prepare the case for upgradation of the Post of Computer Operator BPS-12 to BPS-16 and submit that to the Finance Department and the S&GAD with recommendations of upgradation with compliance report to be submitted to this office within one month of issue of this order as required under Section 11(2) of the Punjab O/o Ombudsman Act 1977.

If Stenographer intermediate base post is upgraded from BPS 12 to 14 then why not computer operators upgraded. it is injustice with computer Operators of Punjab. almost in other provinces the computer operators are upgraded in BPS 16..
This status is very old. what new on this case. I salute to Mr. Yasir and Ms shazia on this progress, but what r doing the other computer operators. I request to all of our brothers and sisters who are serving as computer operator at any department plz put their request to Ombudsman for further progress

AOA ! Ombudsman Punjab ( Respected Javed Mahmood Sb ) wrote to Agriculture Deptt for sending file to S&GAD through Finance Deptt for upgradation. The date of Ombudsman Punjab was 12.12.2013. After a lapse of Three months I think there is no progress?
In the mean time Federal Govt Finanace Deptt also issued a letter No.F.1(10)R-I/2010-234 dated 12 05.11 that all KPO & Verifying operators are Re-designated as DEO in Bs-12 in all Govt Deptt. if there any Deptt have uper than Bs-12 that will also down-graded to Bs-12. THEN WHERE these people will stand ?

Govt of the Punjab requirement for DOE’s are F.A with Computer Course ( no computer course period is mentioned) and different Departments appointing DEO’s in different scales some Bs-11 and now Bs-12 and some old are working in Bs-10 too.

All Computer Operators, of all departments must writ the petition for computer allowance and for the upgradation of scales if above order of Mohatasib is followed………….Federal Employees Computer Personel are taking Computer Allowance from last year. But Punjab Govt. did not issued notification of computer allowance. If some computer operator writ the petition court will definately give order in the favor of computer operators. 100% confirm………
