Government of the Punjab, Labour & Human Resource Department has issued Notification No. SO (D-lll) 07-12/2014 dated 15-06-2017 in connection with Monthly Wages Ceiling 2017 Punjab. Detail is as under:
I n exercise of powers conferred under section 71(2), of the Provincial Employees Social Security Ordinance 1965, the Governor of the Punjab is pleased to enhance the monthly wage ceiling from Rs. 18,000/- to Rs. 22,000/- per month and daily wage rate from Rs. 750/- to Rs.1000/- for the purpose of levy of contribution as envisaged under Section 2(8)(f) of the ordinance ibid.
