I am here sharing the Latest Updates Increase Salary Budget 2018-19 for Govt Employees received through the newspapers. These are just news and not the final decision of the Government. I have already shared a few weeks ago in connection with news regarding increase salaries budget 2018-19 for the Government Employees.

According to the Newspaper “Daily Aaj” it has been decided that there will be 15% to 20% increase in salaries for the Federal Government Employees of Pakistan.

According to the same newspaper, there has been decided 25% increase in pension for the pensioners in the coming budget 2018-19.

According to the newspaper sources, there is 20% increase expected in Medical Allowance for the Government Employees.

Increase House Rent Allowance Budget 2018-19

Newspaper sources said that there will be increase in House Rent Allowance and House Rental Ceiling for the employees.

Good News اسلام آباد (مانیٹرنگ ڈیسک) وفاقی حکومت نے اپنے آخری بجٹ میں سرکاری ملازمین کی تنخواہیں بڑھانے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے ۔ذرائع کے مطابق 15سے 20فیصد ایڈہا ک ریلیف بڑھانے پر غور کیا جارہاہے جبکہ پینشن کی مدمیں 20سے 25فی صد اضافہ متوقع ہے کیونکہ وزیر اعظم شاہد خاقان عباسی پنشنرز کے لئے نرم گوشہ رکھتے ہیں ۔حکومت بجٹ 2108/19میں سرکاری ملازمین کے ہاؤس رینٹ الاؤنس کو بھی بڑھائے گی جوکہ پے سکیل 2008میں فریز کیا گیا تھا ۔اس سال حکومت انتخابات کی وجہ سے بجٹ 27اپریل کو پیش کریں گے۔وزیراعظم نے پچھلے سال دسمبر میں ہاؤس رینٹ اوررینٹل سیلنگ میں پچاس فیصد اضافے کی منظور دی تھی مگر چند ناگزیر وجوہات کی بنا پر اس پرعمل دارآمد نہیں کیا گیا تاہم اس پر ابھی عمل دارآمد کیا جائے گا تاکہ سرکاری ملازمین کا ووٹ حاصل کیا جاسکے ۔ذرائع نے یہ بھی بتایا کہ میڈیکل الاؤنس میں بھی 20فیصد اضافہ کیا جا ئے گا ۔وزیراعظم شاہد خاقان عباسی نے میاں نواز شریف کی ہدایت پر وزارت خزانہ کو سرکاری ملازمین کی تنخواہیں اور الاؤنسز بڑھانے کے احکامات جاری کئے ہیں ۔اسی ضمن میں سرکاری ملازمینوں کے بہت سی تنظیموں نے تنخواہیں اور الاؤنسز بڑھانے کی تجویزیں بھی حکومت کو پیش کی ہیں جبکہ ان تجایز کے ساتھ ساتھ یوٹیلٹی الاؤنس ،ایجوکیشن الاؤنسز وغیر ہ بھی شامل ہیں تاہم بجٹ اجلاسوں میں ان کا زکر نہیں کیا گیا ہے لیکن ممکن ہے کہ حکومت سینئر افسران کے انٹرٹینمنٹ الاؤنس میں اضافہ کرے ۔ وفاقی حکومت نے اپنے آخری بجٹ میں سرکاری ملازمین کی تنخواہیں بڑھانے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے ۔ذرائع کے مطابق 15سے 20فیصد ایڈہا ک ریلیف بڑھانے پر غور کیا جارہاہے جبکہ پینشن کی مدمیں 20سے 25فی صد اضافہ متوقع ہے کیونکہ وزیر اعظم شاہد خاقان عباسی پنشنرز کے

Updates Salaries Increase Govt Employees as on 21-03-2018

According to the Daily Express Dated 21-03-2018 there is being considered to be increase salary of the Govt Employees @15% and the Pension @ 20%.

There is also consideration regarding Late Sitting Allowance, House Rent Ceiling, Medical Allowance and other Allowances.

There are three proposals, one of them is to merge the existing adhoc allowances and introduce new revise pay scale 2018. However, all this is at the initial stage, final working paper will be prepared at the mid of the coming month April 2018.

  1. Sir, it is injustice with APSs BS-16 who are not allowed further promotion during their whole service (where no post of PS is sanctioned). On the other hand, all the PSs (BS-17) have been moved to BS-18 and even in BS-19 when the nature of duty is the same. It is prayed that all the APSs who have completed 5 years service as APS in BS-16 may be granted BS-17 in the same post, as is in the case of PS and SPS.

  2. Hi! Does time scale promotion applies to BPS 17 employees? I was appointed in BPS 17 and working in same scale since 1993. Have gotten 5 PPs! I am employee of a corporation but all service rules of punjab govt are observed.

    I had done M. S in mathematics, and according to finance M. S and M. phill are not equivalent. Although, H. E. C had already notified that, they both are equivalent. But as this is finance division of Pakistan and only Pakistan finance division declared that no they are unequal.
    Then what should be our next step. We already submitted case in Wifaqi Muhtasib Islamabad, but they also did’nt respond.

    What should be our next step. I am waiting for your suggestion.

  4. I am retired teacher of FGEI C/G . I was granted BPS-17 after my retirement through upgradation. I served 20 years in BPS 16. Now I have heard about time scale promotion from BPS-17 to BPS-18. When It will going to be implement? I also heard about that teachers in BPS-18 are already promoted to BPS 19 through time scale. Can you send me the said list. I will be grateful to you. Thanks

    Give me your email and I will provide you the notification of APS special P.A. I am fully supporting the idea of Mr. Fayyaz Cheema because it is the biggest anomaly with govt servant that people who get appointment in courts, judiciary., President & PM Secretariat & Provincial Secretariats all of sudden finds themselves to be very rich because they in the same scales gets pay double/tripple to their same scale counterparts in other federal and government departments. Likewise is the case of Army and other departments where so many additional allowances are being given which is creating anomaly to others. So there is dire need that all allowances for all the government same scale employees must be equal and same and no attractive slot be left where people want to join by all the fair/unfair means. This will also terminate the undue favoritism too.


  7. Clerical posts of the Federal Govt employees (UDC’s and LDC’s) must be upgraded from BPS-11 to BPS-14 and BPS-9 to BPS-11 respectively according to the provincial govts

  8. This is the last budget of this govt and it is hoped that they will give comprehensive package to all. In this regard, it is highlighted that HRA must be increased and it be on the present BPS, 45%, medical and conveyance must also be increased 100%. All those cadres who do not have any further promotion like APS must also be given time scale promotions because it is a basic right of every government servant to excel in its field. Late sitting allowance must also be extended to APS/BS-16 grade (Gazetted) too because it is the APS cadre who mostly do this duty after closing hours but are thrown out of this benefit which is un-just, they must also be paid LSA and it be increased 100% at least Rs. 300/day for all from BS-1 to 16. Special pay for PA/APS/PS mus also be at least Rs. 2000/month at least. Play be also increased at least 20% and for pensioner too. A happy government servant will definitely work with lion heart and will play its role for prosperity of this country. Tax exemption for govt servant must also be increased up to Rs. 600,000/-.

  9. There must be uniformity in the salary packages of all the departments, courts and civil and armed forces etc in the light of Article 25 of the Constitution which ensures equal treatment to all the citizen.

  10. Increase in Pay and Allowance must be in range of increase in inflation.
    Inflation level is increasing day by day. Evan so, it is difficult to manage by substantial increase in Pay and Allowance.

  11. Selection grade Stenographers BPS-15 in Punjab Province still in the same grade, not upgraded, not promoted, not given time scale even having upto 32 years services in their credit and going to retire. No CM Punjab, listen, No Chief Secretary Punjab listen, No clarified notification issued by Punjab Finance Department in favour of Selection grade Stenographers BPS-15.
    Given freezed H.Rent on pay scale 2008 basis and deduction of income tax on running salary. There is no law no advocate, no judge, no policy maker, who ask the govt. why injustice with the employees.
