Government of the Punjab, School Education Department has issued Notification on 05-04-2019 in connection with Admission for Higher Studies without NOC / Departmental Permission. Detail is as under:

Admission for Higher Studies without NOC / Departmental Permission of the Competent Authority

I am directed to refer the subject noted above.

2.                            I am further directed to state that it has come into the notice  of the Department that teachers have been taken admission for further studies in M.Phil/Ph.D without Department Permission /NOC from the concerned Competent Authority. They take admission for evening classes in universities faraway from their place of posting which is an  illegal practice. In this regard, they are also availing illegal qualification allowance, as no Department Permission/NOC was issued in their favour. 3.                            In view of the above, I am directed to request you to look into the issue, sort out all such cases and take appropriate action against them. In  case, In future,  any such irregularity  is observed then action will be taken against the Chief Executive Officer, District Education Authority  concerned.
