Notification of Assistance Family Package CAA Deceased Employees

Headquarters, Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority has issued Notification on 06-09-2019 in connection with Assistance Family Package CAA Deceased Employees who die during service. Summary is as under:

1- In accordance with amendments made in Regulations for families of deceased employees who die during service or service, has been revised w.e.f. 1″ August, 2019 as under:-

5 The Employment Employment for the post in SG-01 to SG-10 on five years contract without advertisement to the wife or son or daughter of deceased employee, which may further be extendable to the age of superannuation or regularization. 6 Marriage Grant The Marriage grant amounting to Rs 0.8 million of wedding of one daughter to the family of deceased employee. Marriage grant amounting to Rs 0.8 million of wedding of one daughter to the family of deceased employee.
7 Health Free health facilities as per the entitlement of deceased employee during service. Free health facilities as per the entitlement of deceased employee during service.
8 Nomination of an Officer as council An employee of EG-01 to- EG-04 may be nominated by the Authority as council who will be responsible for finalization/provision of all the facilities under the package to the families of employees w An employee of EG-01 to- EG-04 may be nominated by the Authority as council who will be responsible for finalization/provision of all the facilities under the package

to the families of employees who die in service within one month of the incident.

9 Prerequisites for facilitation of family of deceased employee In case of in service death of employee, the following prerequisite must immediately be fulfilled by the Competent Authority, without any delay.

o. immediate submission of pension case; b. option for anticipatory pension {80% of the total pension;

Besides as a pro-active approach the competent Authority must observe the following practices regarding their employees.-

c. upto date list of family members of each

employee for pension purpose be

maintained beforehand;

d. nomination of GP fund must be ensured for each employee in his/her life.

In case of in service (security related) death of employee, the following prerequisite must immediately be fulfilled

by the Competent Authority, without any delay.-

o. immediate submission of pension case;

b. option for anticipatory pension [80 % of the total pension)

Besides as a pro-active approach the competent Authority must observe the following practices regarding their

10 GP Fund Only payable amount of GP fund shall be paid to the deceased employee’s family. Only payable amount of GP fund shall be paid to the deceased employee’s family.
