Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Higher Education, Archives & Libraries Department has issued Notification on 20-09-2019 in connection with Five Tier Formula for Teaching cadre of Government Colleges (Male & Female) KPK. Detail is as under:

Sanction of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is hereby accorded to the upgradation of 1155 posts to BPS-21, BPS-20, BPS-19 and BPS-18 of teaching cadre in Government Colleges (Male & Female), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by abolishing equal number of posts of lecturers (BPS-17) on the basis of 5-Tier Formula carrying the ratio of 05:06:22:35.5:36.

The current upgradation of 1155 posts including re-designation of 36 posts as Senior Professors BPS-21 inter alia of Teaching Cadre in Government Colleges (Male / Female) KPK shall be effective from 01-09-2019. Sanction is also hereby accorded for upgradation & re-designation of posts in BPS-21, 20, 19 & 18 of teaching cadre on gender basis by abolishing equal number of posts of Lectures BPS-17.
