he government of Sindh has decided Not Opening Colleges and Schools in Sindh province with effect from 1st June 2020 due to the spread of the COVID-19. The Sindh Government has promoted all students from 1st to 8th class. The details are as under:
Not Opening Colleges and Schools in Sindh
The College Education Department and School Education & Literacy Department have issued Notifications on 30-05-2020 & 29-05-2020 respectively.
Notification of College Education Department
No.SO(A&T-II)/CED/5-3/2020: In pursuance of Steering Committee meeting held on 12th May 2020, in wake of outbreak of COVID-19, as a precautionary measure for all Public & Private Colleges & Educational Institutes, controlled or regulated by the College Education Department Government of Sindh shall continue to remain closed and will not be re-opened on 1st juke 2020.
The date for re-opening of College will be announced keeping in the situation of COVID-19 in the province.
Notification of School Education & Literacy Department
NO.SO(A&T)SELD/9(3)/2020: in pursuance of Steering Committee meeting held on 12th May 2020, in the wake of the outbreak of COVID-19, as a precautionary measure for all public & Private Educational Institutions, under the administrative control of School Education & Literacy Department, Government of Sindh, it is hereby notified that:
(i) All the Educational Institutions will continue to remain closed and will not be re-opened on 1st June 2020. The date for the opening of schools will be announced keeping in the situation of COVID-19.
(ii) Students from class I to VIII are promoted in their next classes.
