The purpose of this post is to share with the visitors the Latest Updates of Revised Pay Scales 2021, Upgradation Clerical Staff, and Increase in Salary.  The employees were protesting for a long for the up-gradation of the various clerical posts as per with the other provincial clerical staff.

Updates of Revised Pay Scales 2021, Upgradation Clerical Staff (08-01-2021)

The Government representatives and the Government employees were negotiating with each other. They held many meetings before but the latest meeting held on 08^th Jan 2021. As per the sources/news, the Government agreed to grant the following relief to the employees:

• Merging of 2x Adhoc Relief Allowances
• Revised Pay Scale 2021 after merging two allowances
• Upgradation of the clerical staff (LDC, UDC, Assistants, etc)
• Increase in salary @ 20%

The above-mentioned demands that the Government accepted are good for the employees but the Government wants to implement the same with effect from 1^st July 2021. The APCA /Employees wants that Government should implement the same wef 1^st January 2021. This is the deadline that could not prove fruitful the negotiations.

If we look at the above details, the demands of the employees are genuine. The Government of Pakistan did not raise the salary during the budget 2020-21. The prices of the daily use items are at the hike. The people other than the employees manage themselves by increasing the rates of their services/items. But the employees remained without an increase in pay and allowances. That is why the employees want urgent relief to them as they are unable to meet the needs of their daily.  Federal Government has also issued the Budget Call circular 2021-22 and the Government insists on fulfilling the demands in this budget 2021-2022. The government should grant urgent relief to the employees.

The Daily Dunya Newspaper Story

The Daily Dunya Newspaper dated 09-01-2021 also broke the same news. In this clip, the paper mentioned that Ali Muhammad Khan told that they have decided to upgrade the employees. He also said that they will increase the salaries wef 1^st July 2021 from the new financial year 2021-22. They will hold a meeting during the coming week and they will announce the same packages for the employees.
