Government of the Punjab, Finance Department issued a Notification on 09-10-2023 in connection with the Allotment of a New Head of Accounts Public Relations Allowance (PR Allowance) in the Chart Of Accounts Of Federal And Provincial Government. The details are as under:

Therefore, the deputy secretary budget wing finance department informs about aid to all the chairman planning and development senior members of the board of revenues and other principal secretaries or CM. The finance department is going to allow a new head of account in the chart of accounts for federal and provincial government receipts and Disbursements. As government of Punjab approves the allocation of the new head of account in COA. Controller General of Accounts Islamabad issues the correction slip no. 626. This Slip introduces new object code and entity code in the chart of accounts. The entity code in the chart of accounts is issued for the provincial federal and district government of Pakistan. Just regarding this, the government of Punjab issued a notification on 9th October 2023 to all competent authorities. District Governments working under the Provincial and the Federal governments must note the hereby entity code in the chart of accounts as follows:
According to the letter Major Object A01 is Employee Related Expenditures
The Minor Object A012 are allowances
The new Detailed Object/new entity is Public Relations Allowance.
