Government of Sindh, Finance Department issued a Notification on 11-07-2024 in connection with Adhoc Relief Allowance 2024 Sindh and Personal Allowance BPS-01 to BPS-06. The Sindh Government employees will get these two allowances from 1st July 2024 onwards.
Adhoc Relief Allowance 2024 Sindh and PA
The Government of Sindh i.e Provincial Cabinet has been pleased to sanction an Adhoc Relief Allowance 2024 with effect from 1st July 2024 to all civil servants of the Sindh Government as well as contingent paid staff and contract employees against civil posts in Basic Pay Scales on standard terms and conditions of contract appointment. The rates of ARA-2024 Sindh are as follows:

The Basic Pay also includes the personal pay that the employees are availing beyond the last stage of their respective pay scales (if any).
Personal Allowance 2024 Sindh Employees
The personal allowance has been introduced in order to remove the disparity and bridge and gap between gross salary and minimum wage rates 2024 @ 37,000/- per month to the employees of BPS_01 to BPS-06 as per the following details:

Terms and Conditions for PA
- The personal Allowances shall be admissible subject to the following conditions:
- This allowance shall be admissible to all those employees from BPS-01 to BPS-06, whose gross monthly salary is less than Rs 37,000/- and shall be adjustable against future annual increments and shall be discontinued after the gross salary reaches a minimum level Rs 37,000/- per month
- These allowances shall not be admissible to the employees working in BPS-01 to BPS-06, who are already drawing / shall draw their monthly gross salary up to or beyond Rs37,000/- per month.
- Will not be treated as part of emoluments for the purpose of calculation of pension/gratuity and recovery of House Rent.
Other Governments Notifications
Punjab Government and Federal Governments have also issued the Notification of Adhoc Releif 2024 Punjab and ARA-2024 Federal respectively. However the rates of ARA-2024 Punjab/Federal and Sindh are different. BPS-07 to BPS-16 employees have the same rates of ARA 2024 @ 25% but BPS-17 and above have different rates. In the same way Punajba and Federal Governmet notified 25% ARA-2024 but Sindh Government notified 30% for BPS-01 to BPS-06 employees.
