Congratulations Notification of Upgradation of Accountants Issued

Finance Division of Pakistan Regulation Wing has upgraded the Accountants of FGEIs from BPS-11 to BPS-14 with immediate effect vide Notification No. F.No.(3)R-I/2010-67  dated  30th October 2012. These Accountants are working in various Federal Government Educational Institutions all over Pakistan. Now Upgradation of Accountants of FGEIs finalized.

Pay Committee Urged Govt for Fresh Pay Scales

According to the daily The News dated 27th October 2012, the pay committee led by Mr. Ishrat Hussain has asked the Govt to introduce fresh pay scales for the Govt Employees so that the discrimination found among the employees be removed. He said” “We have conditioned the finalizing of the committee’s recommendations on the removal of existing distortions because just lip service will not serve the purpose,” said Husain. “The creation of fresh pay scales is necessary to attracting talented people into public service as with the existing pay structure of BS-17, no one will come into the public sector.”

Educational Scholarships for Children of Employees

The Punjab Govt has announced Educational Scholarships for the kids of Govt Employees. The kids of All the Govt employees who have got 60 % marks in SSC and HSSC can apply for these scholarships. The students who have passed their SSC or HSSC exams through BISE and FBISE are eligible for these scholarships.

The income of the parents of the students must be maximum 15000/- per month. The following categories can apply for these scholarships:

Rules for Resignation from Govt Service

I am going to tell you an important topic of resignation from Govt service. Many employees who find other jobs and they cannot continue their service are in a habitual of leaving the department without proper procedure this may cause a great penalty for such employees. This is also a violation of rules. I am going to inform you that there are two categories of employees. The first ones are those who are at their probation period and the other ones are those who have gone through the period of probation and they have become permanent. GP Fund Interest Rates for the Year 2011-12 Announced

The General Provident Fund Interest Rates for the financial year 2011-12 has been announced by the Finance Division Regulation Wing vide No. F.2 (1)-Reg.7/2010-302 dated 31st July 2012. The rates on deposits and balances at the credit of the subscribers for the financial year 2010-2011 were 14.20 % per annum. It has now been decided that the rates of profit applicable to the subscribers and the balances in the various Provident Fund during the financial year beginning on the 1st July 2011 shall be 13.70 % per annum.
