Packages for Employees

I am sharing the Judgment Copy of LHC regarding the Job Status on the Re-Marriage of the Widow. As per the decision the widow is eligible for continuing her jobs when she re-marries. The main points of the decision are as follows:

Government of the Punjab, Finance Division issued a Notification on 19-08-2024 in connection with the Revised Employment, Pension, and Salary Financial Assistance Package Punjab 2024. These amendments are for the packages for the family of the Government employees who die while in service.

Government of the Punjab, Finance Department issued a Notification on 07-02-2024 in connection with the Revised Financial Assistance Package Feb 2024 Punjab. The details are as under:

Government of the Punjab, Finance Department issued a Notification on 07-12-2023 in connection with Revised Rates of Financial Assistance 2023 Punjab Government Employees who die while in service. The family of such employees will get financial assistance as per the new enhanced rates 2023. As per the revised notification, the Employment under Rule 17-A will be discontinued. Before this one child or the widow got the job. But as per new rules, the lump sum payment amount, the department increased. The effective date of the new rules is 21st November 2023. 

Pakistan Railways Headquarter Office Lahore issued a Notification on 11-05-2023 in connection with the Procedure for Processing Claims under the PM Revised Assistance Package for the Families of Government Employees who Die in Service Period from 15-06-2013 to 09-02-2015.
