Is Financial Assistance Due to the Family of Employee Who Died Prior to 2004?

I received a number of questions regarding the issue of Assistance package for the employee of the deceased Government employee who died before the introduction of financial assistance package? The answer is “No”, the employee who Died Prior to 2004 before the introduction of assistance package 2004 will not get the benefit of the assistance package. Detail of the same has been mentioned in the Government of the Punjab, Finance Department Notification of the dated 0106-2006. The contents of the Notification of the said date are as under:

“Payment of Benevolent Fund on Invalid Retirement or Retirement on the basis of disability and in case of the death of the employee” this is the article that I, on the request of many employees, am sharing today. I have received many complaints from the deserved ones that even a lapse of many years of the retirement / death of their dear ones, the incapacitated employee / family did not get any kind of payment regarding Benevolent.
