Conveyance Allowance

Many employees asked me about the Conveyance Charges for Late Sitting Admissibility for Government employees.  A number of them asked that they work in the office even after working hours.  Are they eligible for the Late Sitting Conveyance Allowance?  If eligible how much they will get this allowance? Whether they will get CA for late sitting at the same rate during working days and holidays? Let’s discuss all these questions in detail keeping in view the Punjab Government.

As per the daily Express Islamabad dated 05-12-2022 the SC orders with the remarks that Conveyance Allowance during Vacation is the Right of Employees. The details are as under:

The Disable employees of the Federal Government departments are also requesting the Federal Government for Special Conveyance Allowance Enhancement as per the rates of Punjab.

Office of the District Executive Officer, District Education Authority Okara issued a Notification on 25-10-2022 in connection with the Distribution of Conveyance Allowance to School Dengue Focal persons during Winter Vacation.

Government of the Punjab, Finance Department issued a Notification on 25-10-2022 in connection with Grant Increase Special Conveyance Allowance 2022 to Disabled Employees Punjab. The special/disabled Government employees of the province of Punjab will get this allowance with enhanced rates with effect from 18^th Oct 2022.

Government of the Punjab, Higher Education Department issued a letter on 15-07-2022 in connection with Issuance of Policy Conveyance Allowance to Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff During Summer Vacation.  The details are as under:
