Petition against the Amendments in Leave Rule 1981 (Leave Encashment)

There are the latest updates on leave encashment in Punjab as a Petition against the Amendments in Leave Rule 1981 has been launched and a hearing held too. Mohammad Hanif son of Imam Ali residence of Hakim Gali near Masjid Khan Bahadur Wali post office District Sheikhu Pura registers petition under article 199 of the constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan 1973.  He made this petition against the Province of Punjab through the Chief Secretary of Punjab, The Finance Secretary province of Punjab, and the Additional Finance Secretary province of Punjab.

Notification Amendments in the Revised Leave Rule 2023 Punjab (Leave Encashment)

Government of the Punjab, Finance Department issued a Notification on 01-06-2023 in connection with Amended Leave Rules Pertaining to Leave Encashment Punjab 2023. The main points are that the employees will get Leave Encashment on the initial basic pay of the concerned Basic Pay Scales. Before this, the employees were getting the Leave Encashment on the basis of the Last Pay Certificate at the time of retirement.

Notification of Equivalence Degrees MA Education, M.Ed and BS Education SED

Government of the Punjab, School Education Department issued a Notification on 16-05-2023 in connection with Equivalence Degrees MA Education, M.Ed and BS Education to B.Ed (4 years), B.Ed (Hons), BS. Ed (4 years degree), B.Ed 2.5 years (after fourteen years qualification), and B.Ed 1.5 years (after sixteen years qualification). The said equivalence of Education degrees is for the purpose of new recruitment as well as for the promotion of teachers. The details are as under:

Paternity Leave Bill Federal Male Employees and Maternity Leave for 6 months

As per the news of various news channels and newspapers, the duel session of parliament has approved the Bill Paternity Leave Federal for Male Employees and Maternity Leave for 6 months for females Government employees. Previously this bill was passed by Senate in 2020, hence its name is Maternity and Paternity Leave Act 2020. In this bill that the senate passed, there were 6 months maternity leave and 3 months paternity leave for Federal Government employees. The details are as under:
