Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Finance Department (Regulation Wing) has issued Notification on 28-04-2020 in connection with Notification Disbursement Pay in Advance April 2020 KPK Employees. The details are as under:

I am directed you invite your attention to Rule 219 of the Federal Treasury Rules (Vol, 1), which provides that if the first two days of a month are Public holidays on which pay and allowances are note disbursed at the treasury, Heads of Local Administration may, at their discretion, direct the pay6ment of monthly pay bills to all Federal Government Services on the last working day before the holidays.
2. As the 1st, 2nd and 3rd May 2020 are Public Holidays (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) respectively, it may, therefore, be ensured that necessary arrangements may please be made to disburse the salaries/pensions in advance on 30-04-2020 to all the Provincial Government Servants / Pensioners for the Month of April 2020.
Summary of Holidays:
1st May (Friday) = Labour Day
2nd & 3rd May = Week-End
Due to the above holidays, the employees of the province of KP will get their pay & allowances as well as pension in advance on 30th April 2020 (Thursday). Punjab Government has also Notification of pay and Pension in advance on 3rd April 2020 instead of 1st May 2020.
