Government of Pakistan, Finance Division has issued a Notification on 21-04-2022 in connection with Disbursement Pay and Allowance in Advance Federal (April 2022). The Federal employees will get an advance salary for the month of April 2022 and pensioners will also get the pension before the due date due to the coming Eid-ul-Fitr 2022.
Pay and Allowance in Advance Federal for the month of April 2022
It is observed that 01-05-2022 will be a public holiday i.e. Sunday & 02-05-2022 will be the 30th Ramazan-ul-Mubarak or 01st of Shawal (Eid-ul-Fitr), subject to sighting of Moon. However, in both cases the expected holidays of Eid-ul-Fitr will be starting from 02-05-2022.
The ruling of Salary Payment in Advance
In this regard, we invite your attention to Rule-2019(1) of the Treasury rules (Vol-1). This rule states that if the first two days of a month are public holidays on which pay and allowances they cannot disburse at the treasury, the head of local administration, may at their discretion direct the payment of monthly pay bills to all Federal Government Servants on the last working day before the holidays.
When Employees and Pensioners will get their salary/pension?
It is, therefore, requested that the pay and allowances/pension for the month of April, 2022, should disburse in advance to all federal government servants and to all Pensioners of the federal government on the last working day of this month.
On the last working day before Eid-ul-Fitr, there are chances Friday 29th April 2022. So the employees and pensioners will get the payment on 29-04-2022. The Eid-ul-Fitr 2022 Holidays in KSA for schools started wef 25th April 2022. In Pakistan, there are chances that 1st holiday is on 02-05-2022. The purpose of advance salary on Eid-ul-Fitr 2022 is to facilitate the employees and pensioners on the occasion of Eid. Advance Happy Eid-ul-Fitr Mubarak to all Muslims of the world.
