Government of Pakistan, Finance Division has issued an OM on 30-04-2022 in connection with Clarification Increase in Pension Federal Pensioners 2022. Clarification Increase in Pension Federal Pensioners 2022

Prime Minister of Pakistan in his 1st speech in the National Assembly announced to increase in Pension. Thus allowing a 10% pension increase. In the same way, a minimum wage rate of 25000/- per month was announced. In this regard, Federal Government issued Notification of Special Allowance 2022. The pension increase Notification contains the clarification point that the Finance Division missed. This was the admissibility of a 10% increase in pension who would retire on or after 1st April 2022. The previous notification does not contain these words. I have already added the pension increase of @10% for the pensioners who would retire on or after 01-04-2022 in the Pension Calculator April 2022. I included this increase for the upcoming retirements although Finance Division missed it.

What is New In the OM?

Now the Finance Division has issued the clarification of a 10% increase in Pension with effect from 1st April 2022. In this clarification the Finance Division stated as under:

In continuation of Finance Division Office Memorandum No. F.4(1)-Reg. 6/2022, dated 14th April 2022 on the subject, the undersigned is directed to clarify that increase in pension @ 10% as allowed wef 01-04-2022 will also be admissible to those who would retire on or after 01-04-2022.

Now it is clear from the above clarification of FD that all existing pensioners, as well as future pensioners, will get the benefit of enhancement of pension @ 10% wef 1st April 20022.
